Embassy Graphics uses the latest in scanning hardware and color correction software to provide high quality digital images. Our color department operates in a controlled color managed environment, employing the science of color to meet your needs. As one of the early adopters of this technology, we have extensive experience in using the most appropriate profile to achieve the closest match to the original. With our color management systems, you can repurpose your images across multiple printing processes and cross-media applications without loss of quality or need for re-scanning.
We are one of the few companies able to provide a digital press proof of your scan for final review and approval. This process allows you to make any required changes early in the process without compromising final delivery times or incurring additional production expense at the final imaging stage.
Our operators are experts at color correction, retouching and image manipulation. If you can describe it, our digital artists can create it.
Embassy Graphics also has the technology to provide you with a low-resolution 72-dpi placement file for page layout production. When the job is received for final imaging, the low-resolution image automatically swaps with its high-resolution counterpart on our servers. This allows you to increase your productivity by keeping your file sizes smaller.

Preferred Color is used when exact color matching is not required or the original is less than ideal. Our color experts assess the image and use their expertise to provide you with a visually pleasing reproduction.
Optimum Color is used when exact color matching is required. It’s ideal when you’ve invested a lot of effort ensuring photography or original art is exactly to your specifications and you want to maintain that color integrity throughout the reproduction process
Corrective Color is used when the image requires extensive color correction and the final result is not expected to look like the original. In this approach, color-specific art direction and multiple rounds of proofs are typically required.

From the moment your project enters our building it receives very close attention. Each title is assigned to a dedicated project manager who plans its path through our shop and works with the rest of the team to ensure customer satisfaction. We’ll preflight your files to ensure that nothing is missing and that images meet specifications. Printer-ready files are created to ensure there are no unpleasant surprises when your job comes off the press. We test and maintain printing specifications for over 100 printers from all over the world. Our R&D department is constantly monitoring the changes and improvements printers make to their workflows, and adjust our own accordingly. We will follow all printer specifications that adhere to IdeAlliance approved methodologies.
Our digital press proofing technology is setting new industry standards for quality, turnaround, economy and flexibility. It eliminates most problems long associated with traditional proofing technologies because it’s not a proofing device; it’s an actual press. Our technology uses an ink-on-paper, dot-based system that allows us to proof directly to your paper stock. Since it is a printed proof, press checks and color matching on press are faster. There are no unpleasant surprises and you have to make fewer compromises.

Every single proof that leaves our plant contains a color bar – our promise to you that every proof will adhere to the industry specification required.
Every color bar is measured to ensure the quality standards are met. In addition to the color bar quality assurance, visual comparisons are made by color correction artists to ensure the integrity of our work.
Embassy’s press proofs are also more economical to produce than traditional proofs, and you can get multiple copies at minimal cost.

All of the necessary application files, fonts, images and CTP files from your project will be gathered and supplied to you in a convenient format for future use. Also, in the event that your files become lost or damaged, we can retrieve them from our archive and provide you with an additional back-up.
